This policy describes what information Magyar (“the site,” “we”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to magyar.ailiteworld.com and covers the entire site regardless of which language you're browsing it in.

What we collect, and why

If you don't sign in. Your lesson progress, quiz scores, and streak are stored only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data or switching devices loses this progress, because it never left your device.

If you sign in with LinkedIn. We use LinkedIn as a sign-in method through Supabase Auth. When you sign in, LinkedIn shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us, which we store to identify your account and personalize the site. We do not receive your LinkedIn connections, messages, posts, or any other LinkedIn data, and we never post to LinkedIn on your behalf.

Once signed in, we store your lesson completion, quiz scores, streak count, and earned achievements, tied to your account, so your progress follows you across devices. This data is used only to run the features you see on the site — showing your progress, unlocking the next lesson, scheduling flashcard reviews — and for nothing else.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site. We don't use your data to train any AI model. If any of this changes, this page will be updated to say so before the change takes effect.

Cookies

If you sign in, Supabase Auth sets a cookie to keep you signed in between visits. This is strictly necessary for sign-in to function and isn't used for tracking or advertising. If you don't sign in, the site sets no cookies.

Where your data is stored

Account data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). LinkedIn's own handling of your data is governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy, which we don't control.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and progress data within [YOUR STATED PERIOD, e.g. 30 days], except where we're required to keep records for longer by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see what data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by contacting [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL]. If you're in the EU or EEA, this reflects your rights under GDPR. If you're elsewhere, we extend the same rights regardless of where you live.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and LinkedIn sign-in itself requires meeting LinkedIn's own minimum age. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what data we collect or how we use it, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for signed-in users, note it the next time you sign in.
