By the end you can: Conjugate a regular verb in the present and say what you are doing right now.
Hungarian has one present tense — there is no separate "I am speaking" versus "I speak". covers both.
The endings for the plain (indefinite) conjugation, using "speak" and "learn":
/ — I / — you / — he, she (the bare stem, no ending) / — we / — you (plural) / — they
The vowel in the ending harmonises with the stem, which is why takes - / - and takes - / -. The form is just the dictionary form, so half your work is already done.
You usually drop the pronoun. The ending already says who, so is complete — is only added for emphasis. A separate group, the - verbs ( "live", "work", "drink"), changes the form to - and the "I" form often to - / -: , . Learn those as you meet them.
